Amy & Spencer
Gorgeous winter colours, giant lego gifts and a LOT of dancing – Amy & Spencer’s wedding was a pure joy to be part of. It feels like we’ve known this lovely pair forever. With the big day finally here – we all arrived at ‘Bordesley Park’ where the entire day’s celebrations were being held. Amy and her bridal party got ready in the venue’s dedicated suite. The girls had us in stitches with their recollection of stories – including the time Amy’s sister apparently bit her spine when they were kids!
Spencer and the lads took advantage of the quirky lounge area upstairs with a beer whilst enjoying their very own pool table! Once their button holes were fastened and ties straightened, it was time for them to usher guests to their seats in the Tudor Barn.Â
Amy stepped into the most gorgeous dress with incredible, detailed lace on the shoulders. With vibrant, winter colours in her bouquet and delicate earrings, she looked so stunning as she walked down the aisle accompanied by her father. The ceremony was full of smiles and laughter and before they knew it – they were officially Mr & Mrs Holmes! As we embraced the November weather outside, the girls had their very own handmade shawls to keep them toasty!Â
We then ventured around the venue’s grounds with Amy & Spencer, taking advantage of the rolling countryside views and gorgeous winter colours outside. Amy was super excited about seeing the sheep in the neighbouring field.. until Spencer became suspiciously close to one of them!Â
They had both arranged surprise gifts for one another – Spencer nearly fainted when he opened a ‘Lego’ Star Wars ‘Millennium Falcon’. We weren’t too sure if he was more excited about building the Falcon or getting married!
Before the wedding breakfast, guests were treated to fabulous speeches! The groom even managed to sneak in a challenge we had set him into his speech.. all we’re saying is it involved his new friend the sheep!
Once full of food and ready for the party to get started, guests made their way over to the venue’s marquee, where there were gaming stations, trays of shots and a huge, white light up dance floor. The atmosphere was instantly electric – as drinks flowed, we didn’t know where to photograph next! Amy performed her very own ‘Marilyn Monroe’ impression in front of one of the fan heaters, Spencer romantically fed her fish and chips as she threw shapes on the dance floor before falling over and the Bride’s sister had… a moment with the sparklers (less said about that the better!)
We laughed so hard at your wedding – you two are wonderful people and deserve the most incredible married life together!
