Lucy & Jamie
Lucy & Jamie’s big day was just fabulous! We started our coverage at the church, capturing guests arriving and mingling before the most important person arrived in a vintage, open top wedding car – Lucy looked absolutely stunning! Her bouquet was full of pink pastels; perfectly matching the colour scheme of the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen ties and button holes.
An excited but nervous Jamie waited at the end of the aisle and couldn’t resist having a little peek as Lucy entered the church and was blown away with just how beautiful his bride looked. This lovely pair smiled throughout the entire ceremony and it was a joy to watch two people so very much in love make it official!
Outside, their nearest and dearest couldn’t wait to scatter confetti on them, truly getting the celebrations started! We all then made the short journey across to ‘Compton Verney’ for the rest of the days partying. This venue really is hard to beat – an art gallery set within a glorious mansion with its own private chapel and acres of breathtaking grounds. The team there are truly magnificent too!
With a private lake, impressive bridge and the most beautifully maintained gardens, you’re simply spoilt for choice when it comes to stunning wedding portraits. We had lots of fun with the newlyweds – Jamie even had a go in the vintage car!
We love it when there’s lots of bridesmaids and groomsmen and Compton Verney’s courtyard certainly provides the most perfect backdrop for these shots! Friends and family had fun mingling and playing lawn games during the drinks reception.
The wedding breakfast was held in the ‘Adam Hall’ – it’s simply breathtaking. Flooded with natural light, ornate pillars and the most beautiful, tiled flooring; it oozes romance! After we were all entertained by the speeches, the hall was transformed ready for the partying to truly get started – a live band, including a sax had the place truly rocking!
We were blessed with the most gorgeous sunset and couldn’t resist venturing over to the venue’s wild meadow and capturing some super romantic shots of the new Mr & Mrs!
