Gemma & James

Gemma & James

Wow! If ever there was a way to showcase a venue – here it is! Gemma and James absolutely smashed this wedding, not only with immense style but just with a really, really pleasant day. They are two of the loveliest people you could ever meet. Their family and friends were incredible too – making their big day full of warmth and laughter.

This wedding saw us back at ‘Warwick House’ – it really is one of our favourite venues. Incredible spaces both inside and out, an abundance of natural light and beautiful grounds. It certainly is one of Warwickshire’s hidden secrets!  The colour theme was so gorgeous for this time of year. With hints of greens including in the bouquets, Gemma’s vintage jewellery and James’ bowtie, it was such a classy day to photograph. Their chosen colours worked so well against the wintery colours and whitewashed walls of Warwick House.

Gemma’s Dad was speechless when he saw her walk down the spiral staircase. With the venue’s signature black and white chequered flooring and gorgeous floral decor, it’s an absolute dream to capture in photos! The bride & groom’s little boy Thomas was also waiting for his Mummy at the bottom of the stairs. This little man was pretty close to stealing the show – he bravely walked down the aisle just before Gemma holding a sign telling James that Mummy was on her way!

James was absolutely beaming as he saw their son and then his stunning bride walking towards him. Gemma really did look a million dollars! With the most incredible vintage dress, delicate lace sleeves and red lipstick – she blew away both the guests and her husband to be. The ceremony room at Warwick House is super romantic with floor to ceiling windows, starlit white draped ceiling and chandeliers. Once the rings were on and a kiss (or three!) was had, guests cheered as the new Mr & Mrs Matthews made their way back up the aisle!

The venue’s gardens have a quirky set of steps (great for group shots!) leading down into a perfectly manicured garden with stunning autumnal colours. Gemma & James were so wonderful in front of the camera – their love for another and silliness together is so clear in the photos… for any couples who are nervous about their wedding photography – be yourselves and let us work our magic!

There are far too many cool features to mention from this wedding day – including giant Colin & Connie caterpillars, an activity corner and the most amount of Krispy Kreme doughnuts we’ve ever seen! With brilliant speeches, great food and lots of drink consumed, it was time for the partying to get started! With our favourite DJ rocking the dance floor, guests let their hair down and threw their best shapes.

It was an absolute ball being part of your big day! Here’s to a married life full of smiles and happy moments.
