Peter & Emma

We were super excited to be back at ‘Horsley Towers’ after a couple of years. This place really is special! With it’s own secret chapel, beautifully tiled cloisters, and a lakeside 19th century mansion, it really is one of Surrey’s hidden gems. Having got to know Peter & Emma in the build up to their big day and at their pre wedding shoot, we knew their day was going to be super chilled and full of love. These two are so kind and we couldn’t wait to be a part of their celebrations!

With the sun shining, Emma and the girls got ready in a huge prep suite at the venue. As they sipped drinks and shared gifts, it wasn’t long until they were ready for the big moment. Emma’s dad fought back the tears when he got to see his daughter in her dress – we LOVE capturing these precious moments! Emma chose the most gorgeous dress, complimented with a delicate veil and a bouquet with lots of bright, colours.

A stones throw from the mansion is the prettiest little church, where a nervous Peter was waiting supported by his groomsmen. The ceremony was full of smiles and the guests couldn’t wait to celebrate with the new Mr & Mrs outside the church once they’d tied the knot! Everyone then excitedly walked over to Horsley Towers for the drinks reception, where garden games were played and some were even treated to a tour of the estate.

We sneaked away with Peter & Emma, seeking out lots of the incredibly quirky spots for photos, including the cloisters and the chapel. If you want seriously impressive wedding photos – Horsley Towers is perfect!

After a delicious wedding breakfast, it was time for speeches – they were the perfect balance of warmth and laughter. The evening celebrations continued with Peter & Emma kicking things off on the dance floor before their nearest and dearest joined them and the partying truly started and continued late into the night!

Mr & Mrs Machin, here’s to a married life full of wonderful memories.
