Simone & Andy – Catch a Glimpse

Simone and Andy’s big day was at the the glorious Southend Barns in Chichester. This gorgeous venue is situated in a picturesque village just a stones throw away from the South Coast. With hidden courtyards, exquisite gardens and a 200 year old barn, this venue is quite hard to beat! It also provided the most stylish suite for Simone to get ready in. She was joined by her Mum who was on hand to assist with those all important jobs! Lots of the personal touches had been hand created by her, including the dress hangers and the page boy’s bow tie! Shortly after, the Bridesmaids joined us – there was lots of giggling and even a rehearsal for walking up the aisle with outbreaks of dancing! These ladies were such fun and helped create the most perfect atmosphere.

As Simone’s father came to collect the Bride, guests were basking in the glorious sunshine in the outdoor ceremony. This quirky space is between the resident alpaca field and a beautiful dairy barn! The flowers for the entire day were created by a close family friend and beautifully complimented the venue’s gardens.

As the big moment arrived, guests stood for the Bridal party to walk down the aisle. Andy looked so in love when he laid eyes on Simone – she looked absolutely stunning. Before we knew it, Simone and Andy had tied the knot and were being showered in confetti as they walked hand in hand past their cheering friends and family! Guests were able to mingle and enjoy a drink at the G&T bar with an array of incredible flavours. They were also entertained by a live acoustic performer. This was the perfect opportunity to explore the stunning venue with the Bridal and Grooms party for some fun! After, we ventured with Simone & Andy further into the grounds where there were fields as far as the eye could see.

After a gorgeous meal and three incredible speeches (and a particularly funny warm up act!), the evening celebrations kicked off with Simone throwing her bouquet. One bridesmaid was certainly keen to catch it! Her boyfriend was apparently at the bar at the time… We are guessing it was a double measure after hearing the news of his impending wedding!

After taking to the dance floor as the new Mr & Mrs, the party truly began with a brilliant live band! The dancing and celebrations continued late into the night!
