Eve & Adam’s Winters Barns Wedding

Eve & Adam’s Wedding was our first of 2021. It was so, so good to get back into the swing of things and what made it extra special is that Adam is a very close friend.

Covid meant Eve & Adam had to postpone their original Wedding date & when they were offered the opportunity of a smaller ceremony before ‘bigger’ celebrations in 2022, they jumped at the opportunity. So together with their closest family members, this lovely pair headed to ‘Winters Barns‘. This stunning barn, located in rural Canterbury was perfect for this intimate day. With exposed brick, rustic oak beams and exquisite gardens – it simply oozes romance. Staff at the venue went above and beyond to make this day super special. Everyone felt safe but also able to enjoy themselves thoroughly. We were also blessed with Spring sunshine and the most beautiful golden sunset.

Eve & Adam both got ready at the venue – the atmosphere was perfect! Bubbles flowed, stories were shared and the Groom searched for someone to iron his shirt! The floral arrangements were honestly out of this world and so complimentary to Eve & Adam’s colour theme… Great job Distinctly Floral!

“Marriage: An endless sleepover with your favourite weirdo!”

Before we knew it, the time had come for these two to meet each other at the end of the aisle in a stunning outdoor ceremony. The luscious and perfectly manicured gardens created a wonderful backdrop for them to say their I do’s. Once it was officially sealed with a kiss, the newlyweds enjoyed drinks and canapés before we captured their first photographs as a married couple. These two were a dream to photograph with laughter flowing naturally! The most fantastic band entertained everyone as they mingled whilst sipping champagne!

The rest of the day included a beautiful outdoor first dance, brilliant speeches and a cake cutting… keeping those old time traditions. Before we headed home, we captured one of our signature evening flash shots against the infamous ‘Winters Barns’ door! Under heaters keeping everyone toasty as the sun set in the sky, their nearest and dearest were spoilt to the most incredible meal – where they relaxed with games, quizzes and lots of laughter! This day was nothing less than perfect and after the most strange 12 months for everyone – it really was the most perfect celebration. We can’t wait for round two next year… as guests this time 🙂
