Jamie & Laura – Catch a Glimpse

Jamie & Laura chose The Limes Country Lodge to tie the knot – a family owned Wedding venue as beautiful inside as it is outside. Located on the border of Warwickshire and with acres of gardens to explore, there’s abundant opportunities for gorgeous photos!

With an incredible 10 Bridesmaids, It was a pretty early start for Laura and the girls! Being spread across 3 rooms; it was great fun jumping between them, capturing all of the laughter and excitement as they got ready. Jamie didn’t do things by halves either – he had 9 groomsmen of his own! Arriving in style in a Bentley and a vintage Austin car! The Austin is owned by one of the Usher’s Grandfathers, who had the privilege of driving the Groom to the venue.

As the sun shone, guests arrived and started to take their seats in the gorgeous, outdoor gardens where the ceremony was held. The two best men comforted a nervous Jamie whilst he waited patiently for his Bride to arrive. When the moment came, with a reassuring hand on his shoulder, Jamie fought back the tears as Laura walked down the aisle. The ceremony was truly emotional and full of smiles and laughter. Once the all important first kiss had taken place, the new Mr & Mrs walked back up the aisle to be covered in confetti as guests cheered and celebrated with them! Drinks were served outside in the gardens, whilst we explored the grounds with the newly weds, capturing the first photos of them as husband and wife!

“If you find somebody you love in your life, then hang on to that love”

Shortly after, guests were seated for their meal and what came next was one of the biggest surprises we’ve ever seen! Throughout the day, a new ‘trainee’ waiter was noticeably clumsy, nervous and all round not very good! His ‘boss’ was particularly harsh, making an example of him in front of guests. During the entirety of the meal, guests repeatedly complained to staff about what they were witnessing… Just as the desserts were served, the trainee tripped over, throwing cutlery everywhere and was screamed at by his boss. Guests had finally had enough, jumping up and hurling abuse at the boss! The trainee quit his job and stormed off to a huge applause from the wedding guests! However, just in time the ‘trainee’ finally revealed the secret, whipping out a microphone and bursting into a chorus of La Bamba! Guests couldn’t quite believe what was happening, but were soon cheering, dancing and singing along with these two incredible performers! The Singing Waiters were organised in secret by the Father of the Groom! We had a very angry Nan who was certainly shocked by the revelation!

The evening celebrations included confetti canons, a hog roast and even a dance off between the boys! This day was full of excitement from start to finish! Jamie & Laura, thanks so much for allowing us to share your incredible day!
