Emma & Tom

Emma & Tom’s big day was simply mind-blowing! Having the privilege of capturing two of the kindest souls getting married was genuinely a pleasure – I spent the entire day grinning and laughing to the point I nearly lost my voice.

Choosing ‘Birtsmorton Court’ for their wedding – this medieval, moated venue with secret gardens and unlimited backdrops for stunning photos is such a romantic spot to tie the knot!

Emma started the day in the Hideaway Cottage surrounded by her bridesmaids and ‘bridesman’ James. There were lots of giggles, bottles of fizz and many stories being told! Tom and the boys were a stones throw away across the courtyard where they got themselves prepped for the big day. Looking very dapper in grey suits; their dark green ties matched the bridesmaids dresses perfectly. There was one particularly special guest who stole lots of hearts throughout the day – their loveable giant four legged beauty Tay… she even had her very own floral collar!

Emma chose the most beautiful dress – off the shoulder, with delicate sleeves and a bouquet full of gorgeous, wild flowers… she really did make the most stunning bride. Her insanely proud father was blown away when he came to collect her for the ceremony – it’s capturing little moments like this that truly make our jobs the best in the world!

As the bridal party made their walk through the pretty grounds towards the outdoor ceremony, the groomsmen were busy showing guests to their seats as one of their good friends performed with an acoustic guitar.

Once Emma had walked down the aisle, Tay took pride of place smack bang in the centre with the best seat in the house watching her parents tie the knot! Once it was official, guests enjoyed the stunning views of the grounds as they mingled during the drinks reception.

After having lots of the fun with their bridal party and groomsmen, we couldn’t wait to ‘kidnap’ the new Mr & Mrs Hale and explore the venue for their photos – these two are so good in front of the camera and as the photos show, their love for one another is so abundantly clear.

Once guests had enjoyed a tasty dinner, it was time for the speeches and they didn’t disappoint! Remembering loved ones, followed by hilarious stories; they had the guests in tears!

Just before the evening celebrations got in to full swing, we were blessed with the most beautiful weather and couldn’t resist taking a walk with Emma & Tom to the venues wild meadow as the summer sun set in the sky.

On our return, it was time for the partying to begin. If we had the chance, we would have stayed all night! Mr & Mrs Hale, you guys truly rock! Thanks so much for choosing us to capture your incredible wedding day!
