Katie & Simon – Catch a Glimpse

This was the most incredible festival, boho-style Wedding! These childhood sweethearts wanted their day to be super fun, full of colour with a relaxed vibe from start to finish… and boy did they achieve it… We joined the celebrations just before the ceremony as guests arrived. Simon & Katie chose ‘Old Greens Barn’ to host their special day. This magnificent, restored period barn in the heart of Surrey is the most stunning Wedding venue! With it’s gorgeous oak beams and glorious countryside backdrop – we were spoilt for choice for photos. Katie certainly has a love of flowers and the floral displays were out of this world. The whole venue had gorgeous, personal touches and the styling was on point! 

Normally guests aren’t allowed to outshine the Bride, but there were two four legged friends who certainly stole the show… These cool dudes loved posing for the camera, especially ‘Ollie-Bear’ as he watched his Mum & Dad tie the knot! His brother ‘Scooby’ was also there to enjoy the celebrations. Guests cheered and threw confetti as the new Mr & Mrs left the barn hand in hand. The drinks reception was certainly unique, with a camper van bar keeping the guests cool on the sun soaked patio. In between the photos, there was even time for a full blown Cricket match! With hay bale seating, giant jenga and even a limbo – the atmosphere was brilliant. Just before hungry guests helped themselves to a delicious barbeque, Katie surprised Simon with his own personalised letter from Arsenal football club! Certainly gained some new wife brownie points there!

With a golden sunset – Katie popped on an amazing, personalised leather jacket and we headed into the meadow for some evening shots. After cutting the cake, Katie threw her bouquet over her shoulder and there was definitely some fierce competition between the single ladies! After their first dance as Husband & Wife, this lovely pair partied hard with their guests late into the night!

This Old Greens Barn Wedding was one cool day to be part of… Katie & Simon, huge congratulations to you both!
