Nick & Shona

As Shona and the girls got prepped at home, Nick was waking up (with a sore head) and frantically looking for his car key… the very car which contained the whole day’s decorations and his wedding suit! After realising he’d left it in the taxi the night before and a bit of a rush over to the venue, all was resolved and Nick made his way to the church as if nothing had happened!

Shona arrived looking absolutely incredible – with her hair down in soft curls and wearing the most stunning dress, Nick was blown away when he turned and saw her for the first time. After all the formalities were completed, they sealed the deal with a kiss and made their way back down the aisle as newlyweds as their loved ones clapped and went wild! To everyones relief on this boiling July day, an air conditioned coach transported the guests over to ‘Shustoke Farm Barns’ where the rest of the day’s celebrations were to be held.

This gorgeous, 18th century red-brick barn is set around a private courtyard with the most stunning olive trees – it truly is such a romantic wedding venue. Nick and Shona were introduced as their guests lined the courtyard and showered them in confetti. We had so much fun with the guys and girls during the drinks reception, before whisking Nick and Shona away for a little tour of the grounds for their photos. This cheeky, loveable pair were an absolute joy to photograph! When it was time for the wedding breakfast, guests made their way into the barn – gorgeously styled with outstanding floral displays.. it looked amazing! The speeches had everyone in stitches with Nick’s best man sharing some of his favourite stories about the groom!

As the gorgeous, summer sun set in the sky, we hopped across to the wheat field adjacent to the barn and captured the most incredible portraits of the bride and groom. Shona even sacrificed her wedding shoes by slicing her foot open in the process – what a star!

As evening guests arrived, the new Mr & Mrs took to the dance floor before everyone joined them and the barn was absolutely rocking to a live band late into the night! We even managed to steal the bride and groom before we left for one last special photo outside the main door.

You guys smashed it! Thanks for having us be part of your special day. Here’s to a married life full of happiness.
