Sarah & Michael

A stunning venue, an amazing couple and incredible guests – the perfect combination for an unbelievable wedding!

We couldn’t wait to join this lovely pair on their big day. They’re two of the kindest, warmest souls and we were super excited to capture their wedding. The entire day was to be held at ‘Gorse Hill’ – an elegant mansion house in Surrey countryside. It really does have the wow factor with gorgeously, manicured gardens, floor to ceiling windows and lots of quirky features.

We had an absolute ball with Sarah and the girls as they got ready in the morning.. these ladies are hilarious! Sarah chose sage green bridesmaid dresses and paired them beautifully with cream tones in their bouquets. Sarah blew the girls away when they saw her in her dress for the first time. With the most gorgeous, sweeping train with intricate detail she really did look incredible!

Michael and the lads went for the most awesome navy tuxedos. They had button holes to match the ladies bouquets – such a cool touch. Whilst they enjoyed a cold beer, guests started taking their seats in the ceremony room and Sarah’s father made his way upstairs to collect her for the big moment. When he walked in the room he was speechless as to just how beautiful his daughter looked. They made the short stroll down the venues’ staircase where a nervous Michael was waiting at the end of the aisle.

In a blink of an eye, the deal was sealed with a kiss and the new Mr & Mrs Wade were celebrating outside with guests on the lawn in the gorgeous, July sunshine. With a combine 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen, we couldn’t resist getting some amazing shots of these guys – there was a LOT of laughter!

When the time came for the wedding breakfast, everyone strolled down to the Garden Suite where the room had been beautifully styled with gorgeous floral displays. Sarah had a little surprise up her sleeve that no one (even Michael!) knew about. Just as guests were full of food and probably feeling a little tired, a clumsy waiter trips over before pulling out a microphone and revealing that he’s a surprise singing waiter. Guests absolutely LOVED it and were soon up on their feet, swinging their napkins and creating a record long conga line around the room!

The energy was buzzing as the evening celebrations began and the new Mr & Mrs took to the dance floor before the guests joined them and the party truly got going! It was hard to drag ourselves away!

Sarah & Michael – you smashed your wedding! Here’s to a married life full of love and smiles.
