Jodie & Liam
Whilst the rest of the UK sat in front of fans and cried “Nah this is a different kind of heat”, Jodie & Liam were tying the knot in front of their closest friends and family! They can now say they got married on the hottest day every recorded. This amazing pair didn’t stop smiling all day and it truly was such a gorgeous wedding.
The whole event was held at the gorgeous ‘Ravenswood’ – this quirky venue really is one of Sussex’s hidden gems. WIth features such as a tiny castle to get married in, private lake and 18 acres of grounds to explore, you’re simply spoilt for choice for stunning wedding photos. Jodie and the girls were saved by a little air con unit in the prep suite as they got themselves pampered. Meanwhile, Liam and the boys were downstairs questioning the choice of a three piece, woollen suit! The bar was open though, so the cold beers certainly helped cool them down!
The entire venue had been styled so incredibly. With beautiful, floral displays on the table, personalised fingerprint tree for guests to leave messages and two of the best wedding cakes we’ve seen. There were even miniature fans for guests to keep cool – what an awesome idea!
Jodie’s Dad had the proud job of walking her down the aisle and when Liam looked over his shoulder and saw her, he couldn’t hold back the tears. With their gorgeous little boy Arlo having a front row seat – it truly was such a beautiful ceremony to capture. The ceremony was held inside the most quaint little castle, with a gorgeous floral arch covering the entire entrance. Jodie & Liam didn’t stop smiling and giggling throughout, their love for one another is so precious. With the help of an old friend conducting the ceremony, it was a truly special moment.
Once they were officially married, the new Mr & Mrs Clark embraced the sunshine and guests couldn’t wait to shower them in confetti before all enjoying the stunning views during the drinks reception.
WIth the help of some huge trees, we stayed in the shade whilst having lots of fun with the bridesmaids and groomsmen – this lot were hilarious! Guests enjoyed huge garden games on the lawn and an ice cream van kept them refreshed too.
It was soon time to head into the venue for the wedding breakfast. The speeches (including a surprise one from the best man!) had everyone in stitches. The newlyweds got the party started on the dance floor before everyone joined them and pulled out their best dance moves! There was even time for a quick rendition of the infamous ‘Mr & Mrs’ gameshow – not sure how many of the answers matched though!
Jodie & Liam, thanks for having me! Here’s to the most incredible married life together full of love and smiles.
