Laura & Sterling

What an absolute belter this was! Two beautiful souls, an incredible venue and the most amazing guests made for a wedding to remember! With the groom being American, they had loved ones travel across the world to see them tie the knot.

The entire day was held at ‘Bourton Hall’ – surrounded by twelve acres of gardens, woodland & parkland and endowed with stunning views across rolling Warwickshire countryside, this striking Italianate style mansion is to die for! It even has it’s open chapel.

Laura began the day in Bourton Hall’s prep suite supported by her four gorgeous bridesmaids and two of the cutest flower girls – these girls kept Laura calm as they got themselves ready for the day’s celebrations. Laura opted for the most incredible V neck line wedding dress, with delicate lace detailing down the sleeves and complimented by a full length veil. With the most beautiful pastel coloured bouquet complimenting the bridesmaids lilac dresses, these girls looked stunning!

At this point, Sterling and his groomsmen were greeting their nearest and dearest downstairs as they made their way into the chapel ready for the big moment. Laura’s proud father was absolutely blown away when he walked into the bridal suite and saw his daughter in her dress for the first time. He couldn’t wait to accompany her down the aisle to a nervously awaiting groom.

As the music started, guests were asked to stand and Sterling looked over his shoulder where a smiling Laura was approaching him. These two are so madly in love with one another and it was an absolute joy to capture! Guests thoroughly enjoyed listening to the celebrant recall their love story and before they knew it, Laura & Sterling were now Mr & Mrs Riegel!

Guests enjoyed champagne on the patio as the gorgeous July sun was shining – this impressive venue is the perfect backdrop to a drinks reception. We had lots of fun with the bridesmaids and groomsmen but made sure we were on our best behaviour considering some of them were professional wrestlers!!

After exploring the grounds with Laura and Sterling for their photos, it was soon time for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were incredible – they had guests laughing their socks off one minute and reaching for the tissues the next. The celebrations flowed seamlessly into the evening, with Laura kicking things off by throwing her bouquet off of the bridal suite balcony to a somewhat crazy group of single ladies below! Watch this space for the next wedding!

As the sun set on this gorgeous summer evening, it was soon time for their first dance. Guests gathered on the impressive staircase as they watched Laura and Sterling perform the most beautiful dance – finished off with a perfect ‘dip’. The party then got truly started next door where a DJ had everyone up on their feet late into the night!

Laura & Sterling, continue with lots of adventures, live life to the full and here’s to a married life full of smiles.
