Lisa & Jack

Having shot Lisa & Jack’s friends Weddings before, we were so excited to see everyone again. This gorgeous pair wanted their big day to be laid back and full of fun and laughter from start to finish. They chose ‘Hyde House’ to host the celebrations – this amazing venue nestled in the Cotswold countryside is the most incredible location to tie the knot. With it’s mixture of traditional and contemporary buildings combined with Lisa & Jack’s own styling, it was a photographer’s dream!

Lisa took advantage of the huge bridal prep suite as she got ready alongside her bridesmaids. There was a super chilled vibe in the room and the Bridesmaids loved their personalised gifts from Lisa! Jack had wrapped a very special present for Lisa and certainly gained some husband brownie points with a designer handbag! Lisa made sure her Groom wasn’t forgotten… we popped down to the bar to capture the moment Jack revealed his very own Tag watch – It completed his look perfectly! The boys then settled any nerves in the bar as they made sure their bow ties were straight and button holes were fixed. These gents looked on point in matching tuxedos!

Guests were absolutely wowed as they arrived and took their seats. The ceremony was held in ‘The Grange’ – a modern timber clad barn with an abundance of natural light. Floor to ceiling windows provide incredible views of the neighbouring countryside. A harpist created the most romantic setting. Whilst Jack waited nervously at the end of the aisle, Lisa was upstairs stepping into her dress and having her veil fitted – she looked sensational! Her Dad was speechless when he walked in the room and saw her for the first time. He had the absolute privilege of accompanying her down the aisle.

“You don’t know how lovely you are”

Guests were asked to stand and the large barn doors opened. Jack couldn’t resist a cheeky look over his shoulder as his beautiful Bride entered. These two locked eyes on one another and looked so happy. The ceremony itself was perfect – after exchanging rings and saying the ‘I do’s’, the official paperwork had to be signed (with a little help from their two beautiful daughters!). The new Mr & Mrs Kay then proudly walked back down the aisle hand in hand. Guests cheered as they scattered confetti over the newly weds before everyone escaped the rain into the drinks reception!

Lisa & Jack embraced the weather as we ventured outside to grab some shots of them and their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. The barn provided an awesome backdrop for creative images!

Before the Wedding breakfast Jack, Lisa’s Father and the Best Man entertained us all with brilliant speeches. These three gents could then relax and enjoy the incredible three course meal! There was even time for guests to sing Happy Birthday to the Best Man’s little boy celebrating his third birthday! He was even presented with a Colin Caterpillar cake.

As guests mingled in the bar, the room was transformed for the evening celebrations. A live band invited Jack & Lisa on to the dance floor for that all important first dance. Their loved ones then joined them and the party truly got going!

It was incredible being part of your big day guys – here’s to a married life full of amazing times!
