Charlotte & Carl

Back at one of our favourite venues with the loveliest of couples – we knew we were in for an amazing day! Charlotte & Carl chose the stunning ‘Cider Mill Barns’ to host their entire wedding – we kicked things off with the Bride and the girls in the dedicated ‘Bramley’ Barn. Flooded with natural light, gorgeous interiors and the most stunning bed, it’s simply the most perfect space to get ready for your big day.

With bubbles flowing, gifts for the bridesmaids and lots of giggling, the atmosphere was incredibly relaxed as these gorgeous ladies got themselves ready. Charlotte chose the most elegant off the shoulder dress, with her hair in soft curls and beautiful pastel pinks for her bouquet. Her father was speechless when he walked in and saw his daughter looking so beautiful.

Carl and the boys went for navy tails with grey trousers, perfectly paired with waistcoats and pale pink ties, matching the bridesmaids dresses. Soon it was time for the guests to take their seats in the ceremony barn. With a live singer performing, the doors opened and the bridal party entered the barn. Charlotte and her Dad beamed as they walked down the aisle towards a nervous Carl. The ceremony was full of smiles and laughter – it was such a privilege to capture these two tie the knot!

We headed outside to glorious sunshine, where we had lots of fun during the drinks reception. As the guests explored the grounds and enjoyed mingling, we got creative with the bridal party and groomsmen, taking full advantage of the numerous stunning backdrops Cider Mill has to offer.

When it was time for the wedding breakfast, Charlotte & Carl chose to get the party started with a ‘table dash’, running round the room and having their photo with each table to the sound of the ‘Benny Hill’ theme tune – what a cool idea!  After dinner came the speeches – the perfect balance of love and giggles. 

We were treated to some gorgeous, low sun setting over the barns – we couldn’t resist popping outside with the newlyweds and capturing some more stunning portraits. It was then time for the evening partying to truly get going! After Charlotte & Carl performed their first dance, their loved ones couldn’t wait to join them on the dance floor where a live band got the barn shaking! There was a even a sax player who was on the dance floor with the guests!

This truly was a perfect wedding! Thanks for choosing us to capture all of those beautiful memories. Here’s to a married life absolutely jam packed with incredible times!
