James & Bethan
With the sun shining all day and two of the loveliest people tying the knot – it was always going to be an incredible wedding. We started the day with Bethan and the girls at home. These ladies had lots of laughs (and selfies!) as they opened gifts, enjoyed a drink and got themselves ready. Bethan went for a super elegant dress with lace, detailed sleeves and a beautiful bouquet filled with cream peonies and touches of green eucalyptus.
James and the lads looked brilliant with grey suits, sage green ties and pocket squares, perfectly complimenting the bridesmaids dresses. Once James was suited and booted, the gents made their way over to the church to greet the guests as they arrived for the ceremony.
Once in her dress, Bethan made the short journey from home to the church and as the choir started singing, she made her way down the aisle accompanied by her Dad. The ceremony was full of smiles as loved ones performed readings and the choir performed. In a blink of an eye, James & Bethan were now Mr & Mrs Whelan and their guests couldn’t wait to congratulate them!
The rest of the days celebrations were held at the stunning ‘Ashton Lodge Country House’. The newlyweds had laid on a fabulous drinks reception, including lawn games, mini golf and a live, acoustic musician. With the sun shining and views of the neighbouring, rollin hills – it was just perfect!
We had such a fun time with Bethan & James as we explored the beautiful grounds, capturing loads of gorgeous portraits of the two of them.
Guests were ushered into the venue’s impressive marquee – where wooden trestle tables, floral displays and candles showcased the room. After a tasty dinner, it was time for the speeches and they didn’t fail to impress! Lots of giggles, a few tears and some embarrassing stories kept the crowd entertained!
As the evening sun lowered in the sky, a live band kicked things off with the first dance, before others couldn’t wait to join them on the dance floor! We even managed to ‘steal’ James & Bethan for some of our signature evening shots before we disappeared!
Mr & Mrs Whelan – here’s to a married life full of beautiful memories!
