Hannah & Nathan – Catch a Glimpse
We’ve been getting to know Hannah & Nathan for well over a year – this wonderful couple have the best sense of humour and the deepest love for one another. As with every Wedding, the big day quickly arrived and we couldn’t wait to be part of the celebrations. We started the day at their gorgeous, quaint home in Henley where Hannah was joined by her Bridesmaids as they got ready. With so many stunning features, this was the perfect backdrop for prep photos. The Bride’s Father was kept particularly busy including being tasked on an emergency toothbrush errand!
Nathan and his groomsmen were nearby at one of their favourite locals where they were enjoying a drink with some of the guests. We couldn’t resist making the short walk to grab a few snaps! We returned to Hannah just as she was slipping into her dress. She looked absolutely stunning as her Father fought back the tears seeing her for the first time. The atmosphere during the entire morning was super relaxed. It set everyone up perfectly for the day ahead.
Hannah’s Father proudly accompanied her in a classic, open top Rolls-Royce to St Nicholas Church, just a stones throw away from their home. Thought to date back to 1170, this gorgeous, light and airy Church is the most romantic setting to tie the knot! Nathan patiently waited as Hannah walked up the aisle, before looking over his shoulder and being wowed by his stunning Bride.
“Love was made for me and you”
These two didn’t stop smiling throughout the entire ceremony and Nathan couldn’t wait to seal the deal with a kiss (or two!). As the newly-weds exited the church, their friends and family showered them in confetti before everyone boarded an original Routemaster bus to take them to the reception venue. Hannah & Nathan’s love story actually began on a bus, so this was particularly poignant! On board, guests were treated to their very own miniature bottle of Champagne! This certainly helped settle any nerves as the Bridesmaids soon started a group karaoke singalong through the country lanes. Classics such as ‘Sweet Caroline’ and ‘Is this the way to Amarillo’ were belted out on the way to ‘Gorcott Hall’.
Arriving in style at the venue, guests disembarked and mingled in the gardens where drinks and canapés were served. There was an incredible converted camper van serving delicious ice creams – perfect to keep guests cool in the gorgeous August sun! Gorcott is a 16th Century, grade II listed Tudor Hall with original timber beams and luxurious decor. It is the most glorious venue to host a Wedding. We absolutely love working here!
After a sumptuous Wedding breakfast and three incredible speeches, the room was transformed, ready for the evening celebrations to begin! Hannah & Nathan kicked things off with a choreographed first dance to surprise their guests! A live band then truly got the party going late into the night! We even managed to sneak Hannah & Nathan away as the sun set over the adjacent fields for one final shot!
What a day to be part of! Huge Congratulations to the both of you – we wish you all the very best in married life.
Enjoy this? Have a look at Amy & Nick’s lovely day!
