Amy & Nick – Catch a Glimpse

Amy & Nick got in contact with us over a year ago and it was great hearing all about the plans as their big day grew closer. The Wedding day started with us joining Amy in a stunning apartment in the grounds of Compton Verney. With her bridal party and family members on hand to help, there was a really exciting atmosphere during the morning! They were driven to the ceremony in two gorgeous, classic cream Wedding cars.

Nick and the boys looked amazing in matching kilts as they greeted guests at St Mary’s. This incredible church is in the centre of Warwick and is one of the largest in Britain! The ceremony included wonderful hymns and readings. It was an absolute privilege capturing the numerous smiles Amy & Nick shared together as they tied the knot! As the new Mr & Mrs exited the church, the church bells rang! Guests celebrated with them in the quirky arches before all embarking on a coach for the rest of the days events!

Amy & Nick chose to hold their reception at ‘Compton Verney’ – one of our favourite Wedding venues! This stunning art gallery is situated in over a hundred acres of incredible parkland and also has the most amazing indoor spaces for gorgeous Wedding photos!

“There is only one happiness in life – to love & to be loved”

Guests mingled on the lawn overlooking the magnificent lake whilst we ventured into the grounds with the Bride & Groom. With a string quartet playing and champagne being served – this was the most glorious setting! As the younger (and some older!) guests enjoyed themselves playing crazy golf and lawn games, others relaxed and basked in the sun. Just after a huge group photo in the courtyard, guests were ushered inside where a delicious Wedding Breakfast was served. More live music entertained them as they enjoyed their meals. After some brilliant speeches, the Wedding party took advantage of the glowing evening sun and relaxed in the grounds. There was a magician wowing guests with some incredible tricks! The master of ceremonies then gathered everyone before handing over a full sized sword for the newlyweds to cut the cake.. Nick looked a little nervous seeing Amy pointing it in his direction!

As the sun set over the lake, the venue was transformed ready for the evening party! Amy & Nick took to the dance floor and surprised their friends and family with an impressive choreographed first dance! The party then got going with a live band providing the entertainment!

What a fab day full of love and laughter! Nick & Amy – here’s to an incredible married life!
