Emma & Boyd

We haven’t laughed this much in a long time! Emma & Boyd’s big day was full of giggles from start to finish! Being super chilled, this lovely couple simply wanted a day of fun and celebration with their nearest and dearest – and that’s exactly what they achieved!

Emma was helped to get ready by her two Bridesmaids – best friend Amy and sister Becky. This trio had me in stitches with their stories! With super elegant, personalised silk robes complementing the day’s colour theme, they really looked the part. Emma chose the most stunning dress – with intricate, lace details and a delicate neckline topped off with a new necklace given to her from Boyd, she really was looking a million dollars!

The girls travelled to the venue in the cutest cream, vintage VW camper. As they pulled up in style to ‘The Limes Country Lodge’, Boyd nervously waited at the end of the aisle being supported by his Best Man Blake, who ensured his tie and button hole were perfectly positioned. Emma and Boyd truly are two kind souls and their marriage vows reflected this. As Boyd celebrated their tying of the knot with a kiss (or 5!), he proudly took Emma’s hand and accompanied her back up the aisle to huge cheers from their beloved guests! Not wanting their confetti moment to end – this crazy pair turned around and sprinted back through the lines of guests for another go! As drinks were enjoyed in the gardens, we took full advantage of the venue’s wonderful grounds to have some fun with the bridal party before nipping off with the newlyweds for their portraits. Totally being themselves and loving every minute of it – they were a joy to capture!

The speeches were emotional, beautiful and at many points hilarious (Best Man certainly had some making up to do after his speech!). Guests were crying with laughter one minute and the next reaching for the tissues remembering loved ones. Those special ones who are sadly no longer with us certainly weren’t forgotten. Some truly emotional speeches and lovely details such as a floral, photo display and Emma’s bouquet containing her Grandmother’s ring were such beautiful little touches to this perfect day.

The evening celebrations were just as amazing,  with guests enjoying the warm, evening sun and rocking the dance floor late into the night. There are honestly way too many incredible parts of this day to mention in such a short blog! We haven’t even got on to drunk Aunties singing Lulu’s ‘Shout!”, the Groom riding on a lawnmower and the Bride showing a bit of leg to the boys!

Emma & Boyd – never change and never stop loving each other!
