Jenna & James
Oh my, what a wedding this was! Where do we start?! Dogs, baby gender reveals, live music, rustic pizzas, stunning sports cars – Jenna & James’ big day had it all!
Having met them early last year, it was immediately clear that their wedding was going to be relaxed and full of laughter – we couldn’t wait to be part of it! Jenna & James chose the stunning ‘Curradine Barns’ to tie the knot. Set amongst acres of rolling countryside, Curradine Barns is everything you’ve ever dreamed of for a wedding venue. With a perfect mixture of old and new, we were spoilt for choice with gorgeous backdrops for photos. Jenna and her bridesmaids took advantage of the dedicated prep suite to glam themselves up. Stories were shared, lots of giggles were had and before we knew it, these beautiful ladies were ready to walk down the aisle.
James and his groomsmen arrived in style, in classic and modern sports cars. To be fair, we heard them coming from a few miles away! Once their button holes were pinned on and ties straightened, it was time for them and their guests to take their seats ready for the big moment.
With Covid restrictions meaning Jenna’s family in Australia weren’t able to be there – someone very special needed to walk her down the aisle… and boy did they do an amazing job! The gorgeous four legged Sadie proudly accompanied her mum, with a beautiful pink bow round her neck! Loved ones on the other side of the world didn’t miss any of the action – the ceremony was live streamed to them – even though it was very late at night they still managed to dress up for the special occasion!
The ceremony was wonderful and it was topped off with the new Mr & Mrs Renhard surprising guests with a very exciting announcement. Recently finding out they were expecting their first baby, they decided to leave the announcement of the gender until just after the ceremony. Guests eagerly waited for James to set off a smoke grenade and everyone cheered as pink smoke bellowed out into the sky!
Walking back up the aisle, they were showered in confetti as guests congratulated them on their marriage and exciting baby news! Drinks and canapés were then enjoyed in the stunning courtyard, whilst the most incredible acoustic duo provided the entertainment.
Anyone who knows us will realise just how much we love dogs! Sadie and her little brother Moe certainly stole the show – and we couldn’t resist capturing lots of photos of this beautiful pair! It all got a bit too much for Sadie as she decided to take a nap mid shoot! However some tasty treats soon got her energy up and she was ready for more photos!
After the most delicious three course meal, it was time for the speeches. With pre recorded video messages from Jenna’s nearest and dearest, it was certainly an emotional part of the day. Shortly after and as the sun started to set, I persuaded Jenna & James to venture out into the cornfield adjacent to the venue.. that’s when the heavens opened! Luckily we took an umbrella with us. Massive kudos to this amazing pair for embracing the rain!
As guests joined the new Mr & Mrs on the dance floor, an incredible live band truly got the place rocking and some serious shapes were thrown! For those wishing to relax and enjoy the glorious, warm evening – there were rustic, stone baked pizzas being served outside in the courtyard.
With some rain in the air, we couldn’t resist creating one final, magical image of the newlyweds under the pergola where they got married. Jenna & James, you truly are a lovely couple who deserve the most incredible marriage. You’re going to be the best parents ever!
