Aisha & Lauren
Wedding tattoos for the guests, rustic pizzas, lego cake toppers and an incredible sunset were just a few of the reasons why Aisha & Lauren’s big day was so special!
These two beautiful ladies are a photographer’s dream – kind, thoughtful and so very much in love. They really were a pleasure to capture! Having the whole day at the impressive ‘Curradine Barns’, set within acres of stunning Worcestershire countryside, this venue is the perfect space to tie the knot! With the most gorgeous balance of old and new, there’s an abundance of breathtaking backdrops for photos.
The brides enjoyed the morning getting pampered alongside their bridal parties. Sipping drinks, sharing stories and trying to avoid a cheeky glimpse of one another as they got ready in rooms opposite each other! With matching, sparkly trainers and gorgeous bouquets filled with soft pinks, Aisha & Lauren had chosen to keep their dresses as a complete surprise.
When it came to the ceremony, Aisha was accompanied down the aisle by her super proud father. They then excitedly waited for Lauren to arrive with her Dad too. The whole room was blown away by just how beautiful these two ladies looked and it was an absolute joy to witness two such wonderful people tie the knot.
After the all important throwing of confetti, guests enjoyed the drinks reception and the ice cream truck (what a cool idea!). Even though the weather wasn’t on our side, the new Mrs & Mrs James-Smith embraced the rain and they were simply incredible in front of the camera. With very little guidance, these two smashed it!
We then had lots of fun with their bridal parties before it was time for the wedding breakfast. The barn was decorated so beautifully with green draped chair sashes, personalised theatre tickets on the tables and even tattoos for guests to apply – such fun!
Speeches followed the meal and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room – perfectly balanced with love, warmth and humour.
We were then blessed with a perfect sunset and whilst other enjoyed exploring the grounds, we couldn’t resist venturing over to the neighbouring field with the brides and taking advantage of the glorious weather!
As the barn was transformed with an incredible rustic DJ set up, the girls took to the dance floor surrounded by their loved ones, before both brides danced with their fathers.
Then it was time for the party to truly get started! We even managed to steal the brides for one last shot under the pergola in the garden with the most impressive sky behind them.
Aisha & Lauren, thanks for having us! It was an absolute pleasure capturing your incredible day. Here’s to a married life full of fun, happiness and the most beautiful adventures.
