Richard and Daniella’s wedding day was so full of love and happiness. When you look at this blog you can truly see just how honest and pure their love for one another is. With two lovely people, incredible friends and family and a mountain of Welsh Cakes, what more could you ask for!
Starting the day at a gorgeous little Airbnb with Daniella and her bridal party (plus some helpful gents on breakfast and running errands duty!), the atmosphere was super chilled as these ladies got themselves ready for the big day.
This beautiful bride chose the most elegant of dresses, with her hair up, pretty jewellery and a bouquet full of soft pinks – complimenting the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen’s ties perfectly.
As the sun was shining on this incredible late September day, guests arrived at St Simon & St Jude’s Church in the quaint ‘Milton on Stour’. The church was full of Daniella & Richard’s nearest and dearest – everyone was super excited to watch this lovely pair tie the knot.
A rather anxious Richard soon had his nerves settled when he laid eyes on Daniella as she entered the church, proudly accompanied by her father. As guests stood, a live choir performed as Daniella walked down the aisle. Other than the bride accidentally trying to marry the vicar at one point (thankfully he turned her down!), the ceremony was just perfect – gorgeous music, amazing readings and a lot of smiles! Once they were officially Mr & Mrs Peregrine, guests scattered confetti and cheered outside the church, celebrating with the newlyweds.
We then made our way over to the stunning ‘Bowerchalke Barn’. It was our first time shooting here and we were seriously blown away! This 16th century barn set in the heart of the Wiltshire Chalke Valley countryside really does have it all! Incredible views, a superb team of staff and the most wonderful decor including exposed, oak beams.
During the drinks reception, we took full advantage of the glorious backdrops the venue has to offer. We had a lot of fun with the bridesmaids and groomsmen before whisking Daniella and Richard away for some stunning portraits. They were an absolute joy to photograph!
Soon it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. These were full of wonderful memories, perfect dedications to loved ones and some hilarious old photos of the groom courtesy of the best man!
As the barn was turned around ready for the evening celebrations, we were blessed with the most amazing sunset and couldn’t resist grabbing some shots of the newlyweds with the stunning venue in the background.
A live band got the party started and it wasn’t long before the dance floor was full of guests throwing their best shapes! What an absolute joy it was to be part of this wonderful wedding. Daniella & Richard, here’s to a marriage full of laughter, wonderful adventures and lots of welsh cakes!
