Beth & Robbie
Gorcott Hall really is the perfect wedding venue. Nestled in-between Warwickshire and Worcestershire, it is located perfectly to give you that countryside retreat feel. This 19th Century barn has original timber beams and oozes character round every single corner. The outside space is more than idyllic and is in fact, every photographers dream.
Even more of a photographers dream, are Beth and Robbie. Having met this lovely couple during lockdown, we clicked instantly and I knew this Wedding was going to be incredible.
On the morning of the big day itself, I joined the girls (a somewhat large bridal part of 9 bridesmaids!) and it was a blast. What a team to be surrounded by on your Wedding day, Beth!
The boys were downstairs and greeting guests in the sunlit courtyard. With some tie straightening, and of course a beer to start the day on a high – before they knew it was time for Beth to walk down the aisle! Arm in arm with her Mum, Beth was not only greeted by her beaming husband-to-be, but an absolutely gorgeous young man too. Little Raife was held in his Daddy’s arms to watch his gorgeous Mummy walk down the aisle. What a special moment to capture.
The sun shone throughout the whole ceremony. It was picture perfect. Beth and Robbie said their vows and sealed the deal with a kiss before walking through a tunnel of celebrating guests!Â
The photos speak for themselves when I say Gorcott provides the most perfect backdrops for pictures. The bridesmaids and groomsmen joined us before we headed off with the new Mr & Mrs for a mini photoshoot. Perfection.
As guests sat to join Beth and Robbie for their first meal as newlyweds, it started with a bang. Quite literally! The poor waitress tripped over and a tray of spoons went EVERYWHERE! A guest sprung from his seat to help her up when… she burst into song! There is NO better way to top a wedding than with surprise singing waiters! Another moment of the day where the photos speak for themselves. What a scream!
Brilliant speeches rounded up the meal perfectly before the evening of celebrations truly kicked off! Some serious shapes were thrown on the dance floor not long after the tradition of a cake cut and first dance.
Shortly after a ‘must have’ bit off camera flash-work outside, I said goodbye to this awesome couple before leaving them to party even more. Truly, this was a top wedding and I really was privileged to have been there. Thanks guys! I know your married life together is going to be smashing!
