Alex & Alice

Combine the loveliest of Bride and Grooms, the most gorgeous Cotswold wedding venue and a cracking set of guests – you know it’s going to be a wedding to remember!

Both Alex & Alice started the day at the beautiful ‘Bay Tree Hotel’ where the whole day’s celebrations were to be held. Situated in the quintessential town of Burford, it’s full of historical charm and oozes contemporary style – think secret walled gardens, roaring log fires and flagstone floors.

Alice chose the prettiest of dresses with her hair up and a bouquet full of gorgeous greens and hints of creams, she really did look so stunning! The bridesmaids went for soft pink dresses, matching the groomsmen’s ties and pocket squares perfectly.

The ceremony was held in the conservatory – this light and airy space has great views of the beautiful gardens and was perfectly positioned for guests to spill out onto the lawn and shower the new Mr & Mrs Jeffries in confetti!

The venue was decorated with lots of personal touches, including lots featuring Alex’s love of cricket – table plans made from cricket bats, score box themed schedule and even mini sets of stumps on the tables!

Guests enjoyed the sunshine outside during the drinks reception, whilst we whisked the newlyweds away from some gorgeous photos around the various stunning spots within the grounds. 

Before the wedding breakfast, we were entertained with some cracking speeches and after everyones bellies were full, it was time for the partying to truly get going! Alex & Alice had their first dance, before their nearest and dearest couldn’t wait to join them on the dance floor and throw their best shapes, including a choreographed line dance to ‘achy breaky heart!’

We even managed to create something a little magical in the rain just before we left – it is supposed to bring good luck after all!
