Lauren & Chris
Where do we start?! This wedding was incredible! Full of pure love and smiles – Lauren & Chris’ big day was an absolute joy to be part of. The entire day was held at the gorgeous ‘Curradine Barns’ – you can find romance around every corner at this beautiful venue. From their authentic, brick barns to stylish interiors and their secret garden – it really is an impressive place to tie the knot!
Both Lauren & Chris got ready at the venue in the dedicated prep suites. It was lots of fun popping between the lads and the girls. Although the gents only had the one job of putting a suit on – one of the ushers tried on every blazer, some more than once! Once dressed, they looked the part! Chris went for a lightly chequered, navy suit with ties and pocket squares to match the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Lauren went for a super elegant dress, complimented with delicate, pearl jewellery and the most stunning bouquet! There were lots of giggles with the girls as they got ready and before we knew it, it was time for the big moment.
As the music began in the barn downstairs, guests were asked to stand and Lauren made her way down the aisle to an excited Chris. The moment he saw her, he was absolutely beaming – we adore having the opportunities to capture such special moments! With the cutest little page boy handing over the wedding rings and Chris sealing the deal with that all important first kiss, guests showered the new Mr & Mrs in confetti as they walked back down the aisle hand in hand!
The venue served the funkiest drinks, including chocolate milk for the kids – what a cool idea! The reception drinks were served out in the courtyard as Lauren & Chris enjoyed mingling with their loved ones. We couldn’t wait to explore the beautiful venue and create some stunning portraits.
Everyone was entertained with an acoustic musician performing and the most brilliant crazy golf course (although there seemed to be a lot of cheating going on!). Guests were then seated in the Barley Barn – a beautifully light and airy space perfect for dining.
We even managed to pop over to the adjacent farmer’s field to capture the last of the sun, with the most gorgeous, golden tones in the sky. As we walked back to the venue, Lauren & Chris cut their incredible cake (seriously, it has to be seen to be believed!). The lads had time to enjoy a cigar outside before the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance. The party then got truly going with some serious shapes being thrown! One of the ushers was particularly popular on the dance floor (we have a feeling it may have been something to do with his newly acquired moustache!)
Lauren & Chris – we truly loved your wedding, thanks for having us! Here’s to a married life full of incredible moments.
