Karen & Jon

This pair are quite simply two of the loveliest people you can dream of meeting. Kind, thoughtful and genuinely hilarious – it was such a pleasure being part of their big day!

We joined Karen and the girls at home as they got themselves ready for the celebrations. Karen looked absolutely stunning in her dress with delicate, lace shoulders and gorgeous pops of pink in her bouquet. Jon and the boys looked great in grey suits and matching maroon ties and pocket squares. Unfortunately for the groom, their beautiful little boy Matthew stole the show (and a few hearts!).

The ceremony was held at a quaint little church in Packwood – with the most gorgeous details inside, it made for the most romantic of backdrops for a wedding. These two literally didn’t stop smiling and giggling throughout the ceremony – it was a joy to watch such a wonderful couple tie the knot. Guests couldn’t wait to shower them in confetti and congratulate the new Mr & Mrs as they exited the church to rapturous applause!

After some mingling and a handful of shots on the pretty driveway to the church, we made the short trip over to one of our favourite venues – ‘Swallows Nest Barn’. Set within beautiful Warwickshire countryside, this stunning reinstated, 19th Century barn is steeped in character and set in a valley of beautiful private farm land. With exposed brickwork, it’s very own woodland and the most beautiful barn, it really is such a special place to host a wedding! We explored the gorgeous grounds with the newlyweds and had sore cheeks from laughter by the time we’d finished – these two were so good in front of the camera and their true love for one another is so clear.

Next came the tasty wedding breakfast followed by the speeches, which had the guests in stitches! With just enough time to sneak back outside for a handful of photos as the sun set in the sky, the venue was transformed ready for the partying! After Karen & Jon took to the dance floor for their first dance, guests couldn’t wait to join them! Just before leaving, we managed to sneak outside for one last shot in front of the venue’s infamous entrance arch.
