Emma & Carl – Catch a Glimpse
Emma & Carl planned a super relaxed Wedding day. With a later ceremony and over a hundred and fifty of their friends and family present, it was all about fun, laughter and lots of partying! Their wedding colour theme was perfectly executed! The autumnal burnt oranges and reds in the flowers were well suited to this gorgeous October day.
Emma chose her two sisters as her Bridesmaids. Along with her mum and some little guests, we were all kept entertained as these gorgeous ladies got ready for the day ahead at the ‘Ramada Hotel’ in Solihull. Downstairs, Carl and his Groomsmen greeted guests and enjoyed a drink (or two!) before the big moment arrived. The children of the family very nearly stole the show – looking totally adorable as they walked down the aisle. Shortly after, Carl was able to see his stunning Bride for the first time. She was proudly accompanied down the aisle by her Father and they weren’t many dry eyes in the house!
“You set my world on fire”
The ceremony was a perfect mixture of love and smiles. With readings performed and vows being shared between Carl & Emma, it wasn’t long before the Groom was kissing his Bride! They walked back down the aisle hand in hand as guests blew bubbles – what a cool idea! Being opposite the stunning St Alphege Church, we were granted access to use their grounds for photos and boy do they make a great backdrop! After the all important family photos, we had some fun with Carl & Emma’s Groomsmen and Bridesmaids before whisking the new Mr & Mrs away for some photos of just the two of them. It’s one of our favourite parts of any Wedding, giving the Bride & Groom some time alone and having the privilege of capturing this special moment!
As we returned, guests cheered Emma & Carl back into the room, which had been beautifully transformed ready for the evening celebrations! The room was perfectly decorated and contained numerous hand created items by Emma, including personalised Hot Chocolate mix Wedding favours and wooden signage. After some heartfelt and entertaining speeches, the cake was cut and the new Mr & Mrs Metcalf took to the dance floor before guests joined them and the partying began!
Here’s to an incredible married life together!
