What a way to start our 2022 wedding season! Full of smiles and laughter the entire day, these two gorgeous people had the MOST incredible wedding! If you’re looking for inspiration on how to make the most of your big day – this is it!

Having met Emily & Ethan just before the very first lockdown, we’ve got to know them and couldn’t wait to capture their big day. They are two of the kindest souls you could dream of meeting. Choosing ‘Pendrell Hall’ to host the entire day – it’s one of the most romantic country house wedding venues. Combining all of the character and romance of Victorian England with crisp, contemporary interiors and stunning gardens, it’s certainly hard to beat!  Emily took full advantage of the venue’s incredible bridal suite with its very own huge dressing room. We were in stitches all morning as these girls told stories and enjoyed the Prosecco!  The boys were super relaxed (a little too relaxed!) getting ready a stones throw away in their own dressing room. With the beers flowing and enjoying freshly delivered pizzas, they almost forgot to pop their suits on in time! Both Emily & Ethan had written cards for one another and it was so lovely listening to their amazing words and abundantly clear love for each other.

Now on to Uncle Roy… we had heard a lot about this infamous man and within minutes of meeting him – it was clear why he was so loved! With an infectious sense of humour and the warmest of smiles, he was a very proud man on this special day. Walking into the bridal prep room and seeing Emily in her dress for the first time, he was absolutely blown away! He had the privilege of walking Emily into the ceremony room too.

Emily’s Mum had the proud job of walking her down the aisle to a nervously awaiting Ethan. All of their guests were speechless when they saw Emily enter the room. With the most delicately detailed dress and feature hairpiece amongst soft curls, she really did make the most stunning bride. Ethan had scrubbed up well himself – The groomsmen went for classic navy and black suits with personalised, initial pin badges on the lapels – what a cool idea!

I don’t think this pair stopped smiling throughout the whole ceremony! It wasn’t long until Ethan was able to make it official with that all important ‘first kiss’. The very new Mr & Mrs Somaiya left the ceremony to one of the loudest confetti lines we’ve ever witnessed! What a cool bunch these guys were!

Exploring Pendrell Hall’s grounds, it was so easy to capture incredible photos. With private woodlands, perfectly manicured gardens and gorgeous exposed brickwork – it really is a special venue. As if this day couldn’t get any better, Emily & Ethan’s fur baby Shelby arrived in style in his very own tuxedo. My god, this little bundle of joy is so cute and loved posing for his photo too! He even appeared in miniature form next to the wedding cake!

Just before dinner, guests were treated to some of the best speeches we’ve heard. Full of raw emotion – one minute we were all in hysterics, the next guests were reaching for the tissues! After a sumptuous meal, the evening celebrations flowed perfectly. With indian drummers welcoming the new Mr & Mrs into the room, the party truly got started!

Emily & Ethan, you truly had the most incredible day. Exactly what a wedding should be about – full of love, an abundance of laughter and non stop smiles! Thanks for kicking off 2022 with an absolute belter!
