Having known this lovely pair for some time, we knew that their big day was going to be incredible! Choosing ‘Highley Manor’ to tie the knot we just couldn’t wait to capture their wedding. This beautiful 19th century manor house is a stones throw from Haywards Heath and has the most breathtaking views across the South Downs. It has the perfect mix of ‘old and new’, the most stunning grounds and one of the most impressive outdoor ceremony spaces we’ve come across.
Daisy and her lovely bridal party started the day in Highley Manor’s dedicated prep suite. This gorgeous bride went for the most elegant of dresses complimented with a pretty belt and her hair up with some soft curls. The bridesmaids looked incredible in sage green and the bouquets were just perfect! They even squeezed in a dress rehearsal for walking down the aisle before guests arrived.. however the youngest of the girls put them all to shame!
Marc and the boys scrubbed up well with the most incredible navy, tailed suits, with matching sage green pocket squares and ties. Their button holes worked perfectly alongside the pastels and creams in the girls bouquets.
As guests arrived and started to take their seats, the bridesmaids were blown away when they got to see Daisy in her dress for the first time. But no where near as speechless as her father when he walked in the room to collect her for the ceremony. These little moments are so precious and it’s an absolute joy for us to capture.
The view from the outdoor ceremony at Highley Manor truly is breathtaking. With uninterrupted rolling hills, it’s truly a magical setting for a wedding. This gorgeous pair smiled throughout the entirety of the ceremony and before we knew it, they were officially husband and wife! Guests were super excited to celebrate with them and this was basically the start of one big party! With an amazing drinks reception and some of the best magic we’d seen from ‘Spencer Wood’, the atmosphere was buzzing!
Speeches followed the meal and they didn’t disappoint! Heartfelt, full of raw emotion and A LOT of laughter! There was one particular joke that will haunt the groom’s Mum for a long time!
As the venue was transformed ready for the evening, guests enjoyed drinks whilst watching the sun set over the grounds. Daisy & Mark then took to the dance floor before everyone joined them and the party truly got started!
