Hayley & David – Catch a Glimpse

This was one wet but incredibly fun Wedding! We met Hayley & David for the first time earlier this year. It was immediately clear just how kind and friendly this gorgeous pair were. Having been together since they were teenagers, this truly is a wonderful love story!

The big day quickly arrived and we joined Hayley and her team of lovely Bridesmaids at home. With tunes blasting out, some questionable karaoke and lots of giggling, the time flew and it was almost time to leave for the Church. As Hayley elegantly came downstairs, her father looked incredibly proud as he saw her for the first time – it’s always such a privilege capturing moments like this.

They then made the short journey to ‘St Laurence Church’, where all of their friends and family and a nervous groom were waiting! David looked extremely dapper in his electric blue suit and held back the tears as the bridal party entered the Church. Their two young sons walked hand in hand just before Hayley – what a cute pair!

Hayley looked stunning as she came down the aisle with her father. The moment her and David laid eyes on each other was magical. Before we knew it, they had exchanged rings, said their vows and had that all important first kiss! Guests congratulated them, cheering as they walked back up the aisle as Husband & Wife!

Although it rained relentlessly from start to finish, Hayley & David didn’t let it spoil their fun! They embraced the weather and we had lots of laughs whilst avoiding the puddles! The rain held off just enough for guests to throw confetti before we left for the reception venue.

We travelled over to ‘The Lake at Barston’ – this wonderful venue is set in over twenty acres of gorgeous grounds, including a golf course and provided a great setting for the rest of the Wedding day. A relative created lots of the gorgeous, rustic decorations, including the sweet table, post box and photo booth frame. It was lovely seeing lots of personal touches come together for this special day.

Although the wet weather continued, we explored the venue and found little areas outside sheltered from the rain – nothing was going to stop the celebrations!

Guests sat down to a tasty Wedding breakfast before being entertained by some cracking speeches. David was given a little encouragement from their boys before his all important speech! The room was then transformed, ready for the evening.

After Hayley & David had their first dance, their two boys joined them – such a beautiful moment to capture. We couldn’t resist staying a little longer, as these two families filled the entire dance floor throwing some incredible shapes! We’re sure the partying went on late into the night! Hayley & David – here’s to a married life full of love and happiness!
