Richard & Marie – Catch a Glimpse

Meeting up with Richard & Marie last year in a local pub, we spent the entire time laughing and telling stories. We knew their wedding was going to be amazing Wedding when we found out it was to be held at one of our favourite venues. Shustoke Barn – an 18th Century red-brick barn – is set in gorgeous Warwickshire countryside. It is decorated exquisitely and perfect for a stylish Wedding day!  

Before we knew it, the morning of the big day arrived. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, nothing was going to stop this day from being anything but incredible! As the finishing touches were being made to the venue, Marie and the girls were down the road getting themselves glammed up at ‘Lea Marston Hotel’. They had a huge suite – perfect to create the most relaxed atmosphere and ideal for photos.

Marie’s father accompanied her in a gorgeous, vintage Wedding car to the barn. Guests were taking their seats and an excited Richard was waiting for his Bride. With live music from a harpist, Marie walked down the aisle to meet her Groom. Encased in stunning, brightly coloured flowers and floor-to-ceiling windows – the barn looked fantastic. It was the perfect setting for Marie and Richard to say their vows and share their very first kiss as Husband and Wife! Guests showered confetti down the aisle as the new Mr & Mrs left hand in hand!

In between the breaks in the rain, we explored the perfectly maintained grounds including the private courtyard with ancient olive trees. We had the most beautiful backdrop for photos. 

As we headed back indoors, guests were being wowed by a magician. During the meal, each table nominated a ‘carver’ for the main course. They even got their very own aprons!

After some brilliant speeches, the venue was transformed for celebrations to continue into the evening. After cutting the cake, the new Mr & Mrs Dickinson took to the dance floor for their first dance. 

The particularly mild evening created the most spectacular mist and we couldn’t resist exploring for a few final ‘wow’ shots before leaving! This Shustoke Barn wedding is one to remember 🙂
