Luke & Grace

Luke & Grace’s big day was simply stunning! We were back at ‘Cider Mill Barns’ and It’s always a joy being at the barns shooting weddings. With the gorgeous exposed oak beams, intricate brickwork and gorgeous touches of design – it’s simply hard to beat.

Luke & Grace had lots of beautiful touches including a photo wall, polaroid guestbook and the most impressive floral displays throughout the venue. Their wedding really did have the ‘wow’ factor!

Grace and her bridal party prepped for the day in the ‘bramble’ barn – this space is flooded with natural light has a full length, antique mirror and it’s very own kitchen.

Grace’s father was blown away when he saw her for the first time – opting for an off the shoulder the dress and some pretty impressive heals, she really did make the most beautiful of Brides. Luke, with the help of his groomsmen were busy greeting guests and showing them to their seats. The gents looked fantastic in dark grey suits, brown shoes and button holes to match the bouquets.

A live singer performed as Grace made her way down the aisle, hand in hand with her super proud father. Both Luke & Grace’s eyes lit up when they saw one another and it was such a joy to watch these two tie the knot! Outside, with the most gorgeous of backdrops, guests showered the new Mr & Mrs Smith in confetti and couldn’t wait to start celebrating with them!

Whilst we had lots of fun capturing the newlyweds, a magician was busy entertaining guests during the drinks receptions as there was more live music being performed. When it was time for the wedding breakfast, guests made their way inside where they were treated to three incredible speeches – full of love and laughter, setting the tone for the rest of the meal perfectly!

Whilst guests filled their tummies, the prep for the evening celebrations got well under way – with the infamous ‘Apollo Soul’ band setting up, we knew the party was going to be incredible!

As evening guests arrived and greeting the newlyweds, it was soon time for  Luke & Grace to take to the dance floor – they’d choreographed their first dance and it was amazing! Apollo Soul then truly had the dance floor rocking late into the night!

Although they say a little rain is ‘good luck’ at a wedding, not many Brides enjoy standing in it! But we couldn’t resist creating something magical with this lovely pair just before we left.

Mr & Mrs Smith – here’s to a married life full of fun and adventures!
