“A summery, country house wedding at Gorcott Hall”
Sarah & Jack held their Wedding at Gorcott Hall, Redditch. It is a 16th century Grade II listed Tudor Country House and is outstandingly beautiful. Holding a limited number of weddings each year, it felt particularly special to be there. With it also being in the middle of a spectacular British heatwave, the blue skies and bright sun shone from start to finish.
When you book your wedding at Gorcott, you well and truly have exclusivity of the venue and are the focus of the venue’s team at all times. At the back of the stunning courtyard are five double rooms with ample living space – they are yours on the night before and after your wedding and are super for getting ready in the morning. This is where we joined Sarah, her Mum and her three lovely Bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding. With the barn doors open and sun beaming in; the girls had their hair and make up tended to, ready for the day ahead.
In the most gorgeous open-top Wedding car, Sarah and her Father headed over to St Mary Magdalene Church in Tanworth-In-Arden. There couldn’t be a much nicer backdrop for Sarah & Jack to have said their wedding vows to one another – with huge stain glass windows and fantastic original beams and features – this really is a beautiful church.
“You are my life. My world. My everything”
Sarah walking down the aisle arm-in-arm with her Father was really emotional. We found ourselves holding back the tears as Jack greeted his beautiful Bride at the front of the church. After a fantastic ceremony it was back to Gorcott for the rest of the days celebrations.
Jack, Sarah and their guests enjoyed a sunny couple of hours in the grounds of Gorcott, including a string duo, magician and lawn jenga for entertainment. Soon enough, they all headed in to the beautifully decorated barn room where they ate and enjoyed super emotional speeches. The evening included a live band, lots of dancing and a really stunning sunset where we captured some gorgeous memories. The entire day was perfect.. <3
