As soon as we first started chatting to this lovely pair, it was obvious how much fun their big day was going to be. With a blend of their favourite things in life, the most stunning styling and one of the quirkiest ever wedding foods – this wedding was to die for! We joined Ella and the girls at the beautiful Latimer Estate where she was getting prepped for the big day. This light and airy suite was gorgeously decorated and provided the perfect backdrop for photos.

The whole day’s celebrations was held a stones throw away at ‘The Waterside Venue’ – an intimate garden venue with gorgeous gardens, a quirky arched bridge over the water and a pretty pergola in the grounds. It has a real personal feel and it was perfect for Ella & Darren’s special day.

The colour theme of burnt oranges, greens and cream flowed perfectly throughout the day – from the most gorgeous bouquets, huge floral displays suspended from the ceiling and the dozens of tiny details dotted throughout the building and marquee. Creative touches incorporating the love of fishing and shooting were delicately brought together to create the most mind-blowing displays. We have actually never seen anything quite like it! Brilliant!

As Ella made her way over to the venue, guests were being seated in the marquee ready for the big moment. An excited Darren, supported by his best man, nervously waited at the end of the aisle for his beautiful bride to arrive. As the music started, guests stood and Ella entered the room accompanied by her Dad. With her hair up, an off the shoulder dress and delicate veil, everyone including Darren were blown away with how stunning she looked. The ceremony included personal vows to one another, Ella’s sister Holly singing live and was jam packed full of love. Before we knew it, their loved ones were cheering and throwing confetti as the new Mr & Mrs made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife!

The drinks reception was super chilled and full of smiles. A best friend who is pregnant revealed the gender of her baby to Ella as a surprise – what a lovely moment to capture! We then loved exploring the pretty grounds with the newlyweds – they’re both incredible in front of the camera and their love for one another is so beautiful. Now onto the wedding breakfast… forget bowls of soup and roast dinners – Ella & Darren surprised everyone with a Fish & Chip van! With the option of mushy peas and curry sauce, it was no surprise that guests loved it.. and so did we! After some brilliant speeches full of love and laughs, the evening celebrations flowed seamlessly, starting with their first dance as husband and wife before the most INCREDIBLE band entertained everyone. No amount of words can describe how bonkers they are! We were out of breath keeping up! The party continued late into the night and it was genuinely difficult pulling ourselves away!
