Karen & Craig – Catch a Glimpse
The Welcombe Hotel in Stratford-Upon-Avon is just wonderful. We joined Karen & Craig at this gorgeous Grade II 19th Century Jocobean Mansion set in 157 acres of gorgeous greenery. This historic, elegant, romantic venue was perfect for this lovely couple. We joined the guests in one of the cosy, hotel reception rooms just before the ceremony began. The large, log burning fires were roaring and sumptuous Christmas trees were so perfectly decorated. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and everyone was eager to see Karen and Craig say their vows to one another.
The ceremony began with an acoustic guitarist and two of Karen & Craig’s children singing as the beautiful Bride entered and stunned the room. The ceremony room itself overlooked the beautifully landscaped wintery gardens of the Welcombe. Indoors, Karen & Craig had chosen to decorate the room with stunning floral displays, candles, lanterns and sequin chair sashes. It gave the ceremony a beautiful, elegant feel and every element was perfect. Karen & Craig made personalised vows to one another – a real magical touch. Three wedding guests spoke beautiful words during separate readings before the marriage was sealed with a beautiful kiss! Guests throwing confetti as the new Mr & Mrs left the ceremony room was the perfect way to end the formalities!
After the ceremony we headed outside. Everyone braved the cold whilst we captured some photos of Karen, Craig and their guests! We then joined the Bride & Groom for speeches before leaving them to enjoy the rest of the evenings celebrations.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Lilley! We wish you all the best in your married life together!
