Dawn & Ed – Catch a Glimpse
We first met this lovely couple when Ed was Best Man at a Wedding we shot a few years ago. We were beyond thrilled when they asked us to capture their own big day! Dawn & Ed are super chilled and wanted their Wedding to be full of fun without any stress! This sun drenched Wedding certainly didn’t fail to impress..
Hiring the most stunning cottage nearby for the Bride’s family to get ready, the atmosphere was perfectly relaxed. The gardens had incredible views over the Surrey countryside and the cottage even had it’s very own indoor pool. Dawn & Ed had arranged for two beautiful, vintage Wedding cars to pick up the Bridal party and convey them to the ceremony.
The ceremony was held in the quirky state room at Leatherhead Registry Office. Ed looked so proud as he saw his gorgeous Bride walking down the aisle. Surrounded by their closest friends and family as they said their vows, the new Mr & Mrs sealed the deal with a kiss before heading out into the sunshine. Guests congratulated Dawn & Ed on the terrace, which lead directly down onto the large grounds with gorgeous lawns and walkways.
Shortly after, the entire Wedding party hopped on an old double decker routemaster bus, taking the scenic route to the reception venue – ‘The Tree on Box Hill’.
“We are most alive when we are in love”
Guests arrived and were treated to a Pimm’s as they relaxed in the garden. Meanwhile, we popped over to Box Hill view point with the Bride & Groom for their photos – such a great idea to create those stunning couple photos! We arrived back just in time for a sumptuous BBQ to be served – perfect for this beautiful summer evening.
After three cracking speeches, the party got into full swing. We witnessed some pretty unique dance moves and even a few pesky adults on the bouncy castle!
This day was perfectly relaxed and a real pleasure to be part of. Mr & Mrs James, here’s to a beautifully happy married life!
