“The Hop Farm Wedding Photography”

It’s a lovely feeling when guests from a Wedding we’ve shot ask us to be part of their own day.. That’s exactly what happened with Alex, who was the Best Man at a Wedding we photographed last year! Seeing how kind, relaxed and funny Alex & his fiancé Gemma were – we knew it would be an amazing Wedding to be involved in!
This lovely couple chose The Hop Farm in Tonbridge Wells to tie the knot – an iconic and historic landmark in the beautiful Kent countryside. Featuring the world’s largest collection of Victorian oast houses. Previously it was a major supplier of hops to London breweries in the 19th and 20th centuries. It now provides a stunning backdrop for photos and the beautiful grounds are perfect for hosting a Wedding!

“You are my today & all of my tomorrows”

Before the ceremony, Gemma got ready at a local hotel along with her Mum & Sister. The weather was perfect, the ladies were relaxed and there was LOTS of laughter! Just before leaving for Hop Farm, Gemma’s father waited eagerly for that ‘first look’. He did his best to hold back the tears seeing his daughter before accompanying her to the ceremony.
Alex & Gemma tied the knot surrounded by their closest friends and relatives. Although a little chilly, there were clear, blue skies and the sun shone throughout. This couple’s fun personalities showed throughout the entire Wedding day – high fives as they left the ceremony, a double sided Wedding cake & Alex’s Lego ‘Joker’ button hole were just a few of the quirky elements of this amazing Wedding! The surprises continued late into the night with a live band and even a fireworks display!
Gemma & Alex – we loved capturing your special day. Here’s to many happy years of married life together!
