Clare & George – Catch a Glimpse
One of the things that excited us the most about Clare & George’s day was how laid back it was going to be. This relaxed and fun-loving couple were most certainly going to have a beautiful Wedding Day. On the morning of the Wedding, we started coverage just before the ceremony. Excited guests arrived at St Luke’s Church in Hodnet ready to see Clare and George say their I-do’s. This quaint, Grade I listed building is the most romantic setting to tie the knot – the vicar even had glittery shoes for the big day!
George and his Groomsmen welcomed friends and family into the Church as a live pianist entertained everyone. George then patiently waited at the end of the aisle for his Bride to arrive. Right on time, Clare rocked up in style, accompanied by her father and Bridesmaids. Guests were asked to stand and Clare began her walk down the aisle – she didn’t stop smiling as she approached George. The moment they locked eyes on one another was magical.
After exchanging rings, George proudly kissed his new wife and they exited the church hand in hand. The bells of the Church rang as guests scattered confetti on the new Mr & Mrs!
“I have loved you for a thousand years… I’ll love you for a thousand more”
The Wedding party made their way over to ‘Tern Hill Hall’ to begin the rest of the days celebrations. The venue was built in 1911 for Colonel Coghill and is situated in the heart of Market Drayton’s countryside. This gorgeous building is full of natural light – perfect for photos! Clare & George had added lots of personal touches to the room, including providing guests with their very own personalised miniatures! The Bridal parties’ bouquets were full of bright pinks and subtle pastels, gorgeously complimenting their dresses. George’s bright red truck even made an appearance at the venue, driven by the Groomsmen and parked carefully in the rather small car park!
As guests mingled on the patio enjoying the drinks reception, we explored the grounds with Clare & George for some photos of the two of them. As we returned, guests were seated and spoilt with a beautiful three course meal, before being entertained by three brilliant speeches!
Before we knew it, the room was transformed for the evening. The party truly started after Clare & George had their first dance on the quirky black and white chequered dance floor. After some shots of guests throwing their best dance moves, we had time for one of our signature photos outside in the pergola. It was beautifully lit with festoon lighting. We then left everyone to party the night away!
What a gorgeous day to be part of – Clare & George, here’s to a married life full of love and laughter!
