Nicola & Sam – Catch a Glimpse

We first met Nicola & Sam last year, grabbing a coffee and hearing all about their plans for the big day. It was immediately clear how warm and friendly these two were and just how much they loved each other. Nicola was a particular fan of our style and was keen for us to get creative on their big day..

Nicola and her Bridal Party chose to get ready in a hotel a stones throw away from the Church. This fabulous, two storey room was perfect for bridal-prep. Meanwhile, Sam and the boys were next door having a beer (or two!).

Their gorgeous children, Ruby & George gave us plenty of giggles throughout the morning and helped settle Nicola’s nerves!

Having had record breaking temperatures a few days before the Wedding, the forecast then changed and everyone was on tenterhooks for the big day! However, the rain held off perfectly for the most important parts.

One very proud father waited outside the hotel to greet his beautiful daughter before they made the short walk over to the Church.. Just in time before the heavens opened. It’s well known that rain on your Wedding day is good luck!

With this gorgeous couple saying their ‘I do’s’ in front of all of their friends and family, their son George provided the rings before Nicola & Sam sealed the deal with a kiss before exiting the church to be showered in confetti!

“The measure of love is to love without measure”

With the sun shining at just the right time, we took advantage of the charming grounds of the church and grabbed some photos of the newly weds as everyone made their way to the ‘Old Rectory House’ to continue the celebrations.

The Old Rectory is a privately owned, quintessential English country house hotel in Worcestershire. Tucked away, this stunning, Grade II listed house certainly has the wow factor! With it’s 18th Century charm along with gorgeous, modern designs inside – there are abundant photo opportunities.

Between showers, we were able to grab the all important photos in the exquisite, landscaped country gardens, with the house creating the most perfect backdrop. Guests then sat down to an indulgent meal along with cocktails, followed by three cracking speeches!

The celebrations continued into the evening with lots of incredible dancing (the best man’s dance moves was a particular highlight!). Just before leaving this special day, we grabbed the Bride & Groom for one of our signature, evening shots outside.

Nicola & Sam, thank you for making us feel so welcome and choosing us to capture your big day – here’s to the most incredible married life together!
